Writing Job Descriptions
Debbie is a hospital administrator for a veterinarian with four practices in Florida. She is also an adjunct instructor for Patterson Veterinary Management University. Debbie, who is the current co chair for the Certified Veterinary Practices Managers (CVPM) board will be speaking on the topic of writing job descriptions in the veterinary practice setting.
Job descriptions offer written standard for what it takes to get the job done. They offer protection to the practice from charges of discrimination by outlining the expectations for experience, education, basic tasks and even the physical requirements for each position. This session will get your job descriptions 2018 worthy with what to include and what to leave out. Whether you are just starting out or need to finally get around to a revision, we will work through a template to draft or review job descriptions for each position in your practice. The goal is to create well written job descriptions that remain timely, legally stable and well organized.
Hope to see you there!
PLEASE NOTE: Attendance fee is due at the time of registration. If your membership is not current the attendance fee is $25 total per meeting. We are sorry but we can not offer any refunds for cancellations after June 12th.
