Join us for our monthly CVMG meeting at Dundee Animal Hospital in East Dundee.  This will be our last meeting of 2017.  Zoetis presents Dr. Darwin Stith, their staff veterinarian who will be teaching us some “Frank” communication training.  Communication is the core clinical skill in veterinary medicine.  Dr. Stith will be teaching us how to train our doctors in communication.

The importance of communication between DVMs and their clients is at an all-time high. How a client receives information depends on how it is being delivered.  The amount of information a client is bombarded with prior to visiting your hospital is over-whelming.

With that said, this session has been designed to provide structure for managers to teach in exam room settings.  The goal is to increase the clarity of message and strengthen the relationship your client has with the DVM and practice overall.  Through training and repetition this structure will make it easier to understand the issue and actually make visits more productive and efficient.  It will also simplify making recommendations and gaining client acceptance.  By focusing on the structure, a practice manager can feel comfortable sharing this information without judgement or personal conflict.

Register early as space is very limited for this meeting.

Please note: If your active individual or associate practice membership is not current or you are a non member, the attendance fee is $25.

PARKING INFO: Dundee Animal Hospital asks that those attending the meeting park on Dundridge Circle, the street on the south side of the hospital. You may park on either side of the street. Please park after the hospital entrance. Please be mindful to not block the entrance/exit of the business across the street.

Hope to see you there!
